Richard, now Managing Director actively manages the business alongside his two brothers, Harry and Jack, and Paul Long. All who have a pragmatic and ambitious approach to business that energises the Toomers brand in promoting material processing, fabrication and welding using cutting edge technology systems.
We operate out of two sites in Downton, Salisbury. In 2021, we opened our flagship site, Batten Road, to house our latest technology driven processing arm of the business. We are constantly looking to refine processing, automate and introduce time saving technology. Constantly reviewing and updating the operation, we have grown our turnover to more than £10+ million a year. We employ over 70 staff and are still growing exponentially.
We pride ourselves on servicing the requirements from all corners of industry; from multi-million-pound infrastructure schemes to supporting local community projects. Steelwork that has passed through our doors is integrated into bridges, theatres, iconic and historic buildings across the world.
